Hon. Geo. S. Boutwell,

Secretary of the Treasury,


I have the honor to request that you will issue a Warrant on the Treasurer of the United States, in favor of Bushrod Birch, Esq. Disbursing Clerk, Treasury Department, for the sum of $2870:45, and charge the same to the appropriation for the salaries of the Attorney General, Assistant Attorneys General, Clerks, and Messenger of this office, for the month of October, 1869.
