November 2, 1869. Hon. C. Delano, Commissioner Internal Revenue Sir: I enclose herewith a letter dated the 26th ult. from H. Bisbee, Jr. Esq. U. S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, and accompanying affidavits, in reply to the charges against him contained in your letter to the Attorney General of the 7th ultimo. You will please return the paper when read,—Mr. Bisbee has been notified that his statement is satisfactory to this office. Very respectfully yours, W. A. Field, Assistant Attorney General.
