In compliance with the Act entitled "An Act concerning the Attorney General," approved April 10, 1869, I have the honor to submit to Congress the accompanying list of persons retained by the Attorney General to assist the District Attorneys in the discharge of their duties, the Districts where they are employed, and the compensation paid to each.
