Sir:
The Attorney General directs me to say in reply to yours of the 12th inst. that your account for services in the case of U. S. vs. Smith et al. was received at this office on the 25th ult., and was approved by him and referred to the Interior Department for payment on that day. I presume the warrant has been sent you.
