January 24, 1870.
Hon. Hamilton Fish,
Secretary of State.
Sir:
I have the honor to enclose herewith an abstract and vouchers for expenses incurred by the U. S. Marshal for the Northern District of Florida in the case of the steamer Lillian. The account seems to me reasonable, and I recommend its payment.
Very respectfully, your ob't servt,
E. R. Hoar,
Attorney General.
Bill of U. S. Marshal for Florida.
