Secretary of State.

Sir:

I have the honor to transmit herewith the account approved by me, and amounting to Fifty dollars, ($50:) of Hiram Willey, Esq., U. S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut, for services, in the matter of the seizure of the schooners Fanny and Winona.
