In the case of Hiram Barney, late Collector of the Port of New York, Plaintiff in Error, vs. C. F. Schmeider, et al. No. 70, December term, 1869, Supreme Court of the United States, that Court has reversed the judgment of the Circuit Court for the Southern District of New York, and ordered a new trial.
A copy of the brief for the plaintiff in error is enclosed.
