Sir:

In reply to your letter of the 9th inst. I am directed to say that the U. S. Marshal for the Northern Dist. of Ohio is Russell Hastings, Esq. at Cleveland.

Your letter has been referred to the Solicitor of the Treasury, to whose jurisdiction the subject matter belongs.
