Hon. Geo. S. Boutwell,

Secretary of the Treasury.

Sir:

I have the honor to request that you will issue a warrant on the Treasurer of the United States in favor of Bushrod Birch, Esq. Disbursing Clerk, Treasury Department, for the sum of $2808,38, and charge the same to the appropriations for the salaries of the of the Attorney General, Assistant Attorneys General, Clerks and Messenger of this Office, for June, 1870.
