November 3, 1870. Edgar J. Booraem, Esq. Secretary, P. O. Box. 679, Washington, D. C. Sir: The Attorney General directs me to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of this date, and to say in reply that he has no means of furnishing you with the desired information as to the Justices of Peace of the District of Columbia. You are respectfully referred for it to the Superintendent of Metropolitan Police. Very respectfully, M. F. Pleasants, Ch. Clerk.
