Hon. Hamilton Fish,

Secretary of State.

Sir:

I have received your letter of the 12th inst., in relation to the suits against Fraser, Trenholm & Co., enclosing a copy of a letter received by you from Mr. Silliman, of counsel for the trustees of Fraser, Trenholm & Co.

I will communicate with Mr. Cushing, and endeavor to have the forms of the judgments prepared by the time that Mr. Silliman arrives in Washington.
