Sir:

In reply to your letter of the 19th instant, I have to inform you that the opinion of the Attorney Gen'l as to the liability of the Pacific Railroad to pay interest on bonds, &c. has not been printed, and therefore it is not in my power to furnish the copies thereof asked for.
