Sir:
I have the honor to enclose herewith for your information, a copy of a letter addressed to this Department under date of the 29th ultimo, by E. C. Camp, Esq. the Attorney of The United States for the Eastern District of Tennessee, relative to the case of J. Caleb Morgan, of Cleveland, Tenn. charged with presenting fraudulent bounty claims. The papers in the case were transmitted by you to
this Department on the 13th of October last.
