Sir:
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 6th inst. relative to certain land at Gloucester, Mass., and to inform you that the U. S. Attorney has been directed to authorize Mr. Perry to employ an expert for the purpose of locating the deeds and running the boundary lines of the site at that place.
