Mayor of the City of San Antonio,
Texas.
Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your communication of the 20th of December, ultimo, containing a copy of a resolution adopted by the City Council of San Antonio, offering to the General Government a suitable site for a building for a Post-office, Court House, etc. If the Courts of The United States should be removed to your city, and this Department should have any discretion in the preparation of of accommodations for the Courts, the resolution which you have transmitted will be borne in mind, and will receive respectful consideration.
