Sir: You are hereby appointed an assistant to the Attorney of the United States for the Western District of Tennessee, during the present term of the U. S. Court, with a compensation at the rate of Five hundred dollars per month, to take effect on and after the 29th ult.
This appointment is made to correct an error as to compensation in letter of appointment bearing date the 16th ult.
