McPherson, Clerk House of Representatives Sir: I have received your letter of the 30th instant, informing me that you have selected the "Times," published at New Berne, North Carolina, for the publication of the Laws of The United States, Treaties, &c., in place of the "Standard," at Raleigh, N. C. Very resp'lly, &c, A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
