Secretary of State.

Sir:

I am directed by the President to request you to issue Commissions agreeably to the enclosed resolution of the Senate, as follows:

A. P. Gray to be Marshal of the United States for the Western District of Virginia.

Robert W. Hughes to be Attorney for the United States for the Western District of Virginia.

Alexander Rives to be District Judge of the United States for the Western District of Virginia.
