I enclose you a copy of a letter received at this office from B. F. Tracy, Esq., U. S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, upon the subject of military aid in enforcing the laws against illicit distillation. I think his suggestions important, and commend the subject to the consideration of your committee.
