March 9, 1871, Hon. Ebenezer T. Wills, Associate Justice of Supreme Court of Colorado Territory. Sir: I have received your letter of the 3d instant, transmitting a copy of your official oath, and asking when Judge Eyster's term expires. In reply, I have to inform you that it appears from the records of this Department that Judge Eyster's term expired on the 2d instant. Very respectfully, A. T. Akerman.
