June 1, 1869. Hon. Abram Bergen, Asso. Justice, Santa Fé, New Mex. Sir: Your letter of the 21st ult. enclosing a copy of your official oath, has been received. In view of the circumstances stated, you are hereby granted a leave of absence from July 15th to Oct. 15th. You will please report your return to the Territory to this office. Very Resp. yours, E. R.
