Sir:
I have the honor to request that you will issue a warrant on the Treasurer of the United States in favor of Bushrod Birch, Esq. Disbursing Clerk, Treasury Department, for the sum of Twenty eight hundred and twenty-one dollars and fifty seven cents, ($2821:57,)—and charge the same to the appropriation for the salaries of the Attorney General, Assistant Attorneys General, Clerks and Messenger of this Office.
