Hon. John A. Rawlins,

Secretary of War.

Sir:

I enclose herewith certified copies of the Record of the District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, in three suits, against 118 38/100 acres of land at Macon, Georgia, against about 15 acres of land in Macon, and against about 12 acres of land in Macon, all said land being the Laboratory property, so called.

These papers are enclosed at the request of Major Gen. Howard.
