Sir:

Your letter of the 26th inst., relating to the Internal Revenue case of F. Hogel and Brother, with the papers accompanying it, was received to-day. That firm proposes

to pay, as tax$400:00
assessed penalty200:00
specific penalty600:00
$1200:00,

and costs.

The acceptance of this proposal is recommended by me.
