Sir:

Your letter of the 6th inst. submits for my consideration the Internal Revenue case of A. W. Bayer & Co. of Kansas. The terms of the compromise proposed are that Bayer & Co. pay

as tax$922.75
Assessed penalty —804.25
Specific penalty250.00
In all1977.00, and costs.

I recommend that these terms be accepted.
