Sir: The President having revoked his order of the 24th ult., suspending you from the office of Attorney of the United States for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and designating George Andrews, Esq. to perform the duties thereof, you are therefore reinstated in said office. Very respectfully, A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
