Felix Branningan, Esq.
Sir:
You are hereby appointed assistant to the U. S. Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi, for the term of one year from the date of entrance upon your duties, to be compensated at the rate of two thousand, (2000) dollars per annum.
You will take, and transmit to this office, the oath required of District Attorneys, and will also report the date at which you enter upon the duties herein authorized.
