Dec. 18, 1871. Harry Harrison, Esq. Nashville, Tenn. Sir: You are hereby appointed Assistant to the U. S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee at a compensation of $1500 per annum. This appointment is to take effect on the 10th day of January, 1872. You will take and transmit to this office the oath required of District Attorneys. Very respectfully, A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
