Sir:
I am directed by the Attorney General to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 2d instant, transmitting your account for services and expenses rendered and incurred in accordance with his instructions of the 2d of July last. You have omitted to receipt the account, and it is therefore returned. Be pleased to receipt it, and return it to me, when I will cause a draft for the amount thereof to be sent to you.
