Sept. 13, 1871. J. E. Bryant, Esq. Augusta, Geo. Sir: By direction of the Attorney General, I acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 9th inst. enclosing your receipted account for $351, for services rendered, and expenses incurred during the month of August, under the instructions of July 28, 1871, of the Attorney General; and enclose herewith a draft on New York in your favor, for the amount of said account. You will be pleased to acknowledge its receipt. Very respectfully, A. J. Falls, Chief Clerk.
