Oct. 7, 1871. A. G. Brandner, Esq. U. S. Commissioner, Alba City, U. T. Sir: This Department has received your letter of the 29th ultimo, wherein you ask to be furnished with a copy of "Brightly's Digest and Appendix." In reply, I have to inform you that such books are not furnished to U. S. Commissioners by this, or any other Executive Departments of the Government.
