Sir:
This Department has received your letter of the 29th ultimo, wherein you ask to be furnished with a copy of "Brightly's Digest and Appendix." In reply, I have to inform you that such books are not furnished to U. S. Commissioners by this, or any other Executive Departments of the Government.
I regret that it is not in my power to comply with your request.
