Sir:
I have received your letter of the 2d instant, transmitting your account, amounting to $299.50, for services rendered and expenses incurred, pursuant to the instructions of the Attorney General, of the 28th of July last—and enclose herewith a draft on New York for the amount thereof, the receipt of which I will thank you to acknowledge.
