Oct. 24, 1871. V. S. Lusk, Esq. Raleigh, N. C. Sir: I have received your letter of the 21st inst. transmitting therein your account for rendition of services and mileage, amounting in all to $437, 00/100, which is correct, and will be paid when receipted by you.
