Nov. 10, 1871. Hon. W. D. Shipman, U. S. District Judge, Hartfield, Conn. Sir: I have received your letter of the 8th instant, relative to the rebinding certain volumes of Reports belonging to your office, and have this day given directions to the U. S. Marshal, P. R. Carll, Esq. to have the work done as you require. Very respectfully, A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
