Hon. T. H. Talbot,
Assistant Attorney General,
Washington, D. C.
Sir:
Senator Spencer has requested a favor in the case of Carlisle vs. Henderson, vs. The United States, No. 2615 on the Court of Claims docket, to wit, that printed briefs may be filed by the parties, for the purpose of obtaining a decision at this term.
Please inform me whether this can properly be consented to, and let me have an answer to-morrow morning.
Very respectfully,
A. T. Akerman,
Attorney General.
