Aug. 7, 1871. Hon. Columbus Delano, Secretary of the Interior. Sir: Referring to your letter of the 15th ultimo, asking for information touching certain private land claims I have the honor to enclose herewith a copy of a letter on the subject addressed to this Department under the date of the 15th ultimo, by C. K. Mobley, Esq. the Attorney of the U.S. for the Southern district of Florida. Very respectfully, A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
