Nov. 1, 1871. Hon. Henry Wilson, Natick, Mass. Dear sir: There is no vacancy in any District Attorneyship except in Utah, and there the President has already designated the officer. There is a vacant Associate Judgeship in Wyoming, for which there are many applications on hand. Respectfully yours, A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
