Sir:
I think it my duty to transmit for your information the copy of an unofficial letter which I have just received from Andrew Sloan, Esq. Assistant district Attorney in Georgia, in relation to the indictment against Mr. Robb, the Collector at Savannah.
Mr. Sloan is a man of intelligence and integrity, and I fully rely on his statements.
