In pursuance of the request in your letter of the 7th instant, the District Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois has been directed to withdraw the injunction issued at the instance of the War Department, restraining the Illinois Central RR. Company from proceeding with the construction of docks in the outer harbor of Chicago, upon the condition that the said Company shall agree, in such form as he may consider best, to conform to the approved plans and limiting harbor lines, of the War Department (a copy of which was furnished said Company on the 7th of October last,) in the construction of said docks.
