Dec. 15, 1871. Hon. Hamilton Fish, Secretary of State. Sir: I am directed by the President to request you to issue a Commission appointing Edward S. Bradford to the office of District Judge of the U.S. for the District of Delaware, agreeably to the enclosed resolution of the Senate. Very respectfully, &c. A. T. Akerman, Attorney General.
