I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 16th instant, enclosing the argument between the United States, of the one part, and Albert Ordway, of Richmond, Va., of the other part—and to inform you that the directions which you therein suggest have been given to the District Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
